The SG8 is a great example of how we redesigned these reels from the ground up without using „off the shelf“ technical details. This reel is a feature packed powerhouse built with a strong, stiff but lightweight Carbon Reinforced Composite (CRC) body and rotor. Excellent long-lasting durability is guaranteed thanks to a sealed Friction Control braking system that uses carbon fiber shims that offer unmatched stiffness, smoothness and braking power.
Impressive 10 + 1 stainless steel ball bearings (including two ball bearings from Japan) ensure reliable operation even under heavy use. In addition, the SG8 spinning reel has other numerous features such as a T-shaped line clip, a non-slip spool that eliminates the need to line monofilament line when using braided lines and an ergonomic EVA handle, these technical innovations are responsible for the fact that the Dealing with her is just fun.
