With the new Iron Claw Slim Jim II, we have taken a big step forward in terms of equipment and design, but the price has remained at the same level as the previous model. The reel still impresses with its silky smooth running, a really jerk-free brake and all other features that can otherwise only be found on higher-priced reels. Another new feature is that there is a lubrication access to the gear of the reel on the opposite side of the crank. This can be easily opened with a slotted screwdriver. A little non-resinous oil can and should be poured in there from time to time to guarantee that the reel will run smoothly for many hours of fishing. All in all: a lot of roll for little money!
