The new Freams LT (Light & Tough) impresses with its technical details and modern design. The MagSealed construction prevents the ingress of water and dirt particles via the axis and ensures a long service life of the gear with consistently smooth and quiet running. The ATD drag system works with minimal starting resistance and ensures optimal safety, especially in critical fighting situations – ideal when using thin braided lines.

By using new types of carbon fiber composites for the reel body, DAIWA was able to significantly reduce the reel weight and ensure an absolutely torsion-free bearing of the gear. The innovative Tough Digigear gear construction enables better power transmission and longer resilience.
With the Freams LT, DAIWA combines proven and exclusive Japan technologies from reel construction with the weight savings and sensitivity of the LT concept.
The Freams LT reels are therefore suitable for fishing in fresh water as well as for sea trout fishing and light pirking for cod, pollack and coalfish.
