With the Lexa E LT, DAIWA now offers another reel with an aluminum housing in the LT (Light & Tough) series. The reel offers enormous retrieval power and an optimal, torsion-resistant bearing of the gear. The extremely fine barrel enables an optimal feel for the bait when spinning for pike, zander and perch. Due to the aluminum body, the reel is extremely resilient and is also ideal for feeder fishing, where high loads occur when reeling in the rigs.
The MagSealed construction prevents water and dirt particles from entering the housing via the main axis and the associated corrosion – in conjunction with the 5 CRBB ball bearings, the reel is therefore also ideal for fishing for sea trout or sea bass in the sea. The 6000 size is also ideal for light pirking for cod and coalfish in the Baltic Sea and Norway.
The forged longcast ABS spool made of aluminum offers less frictional resistance when casting and improves the casting distance thanks to the new design of the release edge. The semi-flat spools are particularly suitable for use with braided lines.
The innovative Tough Digigear gear construction also enables better power transmission and higher resilience. The ATD brake ensures that the brake starts up immediately without initial resistance and offers enormous braking power.
