With the 17′ Prorex LT series, DAIWA presents a new generation in reel construction – the LT concept enables the construction of ultra-light reels that are stronger and more resilient than ever before.

Thanks to the Zaion reel body, the gear sits absolutely torsion-proof in the body and ensures a lasting, silky-smooth run. The new LT concept ensures an enormous reduction in weight while at the same time increasing strength and resilience. The 17′ Prorex LT 2500D only weighs an incredible 175g, making it one of the lightest reels in the world!

The milled Tough Digigear II gear is made in Japan and offers extreme resilience with optimized running.

Due to the high precision, even thin braids are laid perfectly on the spool – the casting performance is optimized. The ATD brake system ensures that the brake starts up without delay and offers optimized braking power.

The 2500 and 3000 sizes have a maximum braking force of 10kg, the 4000 12kg and the 2000 5kg.
